Who am I?

I'm Malou Bruil, a 21-year-old media student born and raised in the Netherlands!
I've been drawing my entire life and taught myself English through video games and social media.
I use art as the main outlet for my emotions and want to create safe spaces for those who feel alone.
I've always put effort into creating my own original characters, making sure to write them in a realistic way but still fun.
Thankfully, my work pays off! Everyone who knows about the stories I'm cooking up keeps telling me they love and relate to my characters, wishing they were real and asking me for permission to cosplay them.

My hobbies:

I have a bunch of hobbies, like going for walks outside, playing with my dog, video games, watching YouTube, listening to music, and drawing, ofcourse.

My favorite games include Nintendo games (mostly Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, MOTHER series), indie games (Undertale/Deltarune, OMORI) and friendslop (Lethal Company, R.E.P.O., PEAK).

My commissions!

I've been offering all sorts of art commissions for the past 6-7 years as a side job. Usually it pays me 300-400 a month, which I'm actually very satisfied with! Some months are more and some months are less, depending on how much schoolwork/motivation I have.

I take pride in quick turnarounds and quality work, providing the client with regular updates and a happy (yet professional) attitude.
Most of my commissioners are returning clients who tell their friends about me, who then proceed to commission me as well. I usually have a waitlist because I can't always keep up with the amount of requests I get!
I'm very happy my art is liked and desired!! It makes me want to create more and more!
